A Beautiful Day

A Beautiful Day
Such a beautiful day
I'm out and on my way
Walking in the green
Where the air is fresh and clean
Up and down the mountain
Resting by a fountain
Lazing under a clear blue sky
feeling groovy, feeling high ...
Such a beautiful day today
With the sun in my eyes
Such a beautiful day today
Lift me up make me feel high
Such a beautiful day
Holds all my worries at bay
I’m in the mood for walking
And there’s no need for talking
Down and up the valley
Through the forest’s natural alley
Singing in a clear blue sky
Feeling groovy, feeling high
Such a beautiful day today
With the sun in my eyes
Such a beautiful day today
Lift me up make me feel high
The yellow sun in my face
The cool wind in my hair
A feeling of natural grace
A beautiful, beautiful day

Amy From Digby

Amy From Digby
Almost at the end of the road
With only the odd tourist there
One or two sailing boats
Right in the middle of nowhere
The only hotel once closed for the season
Now closed for good, there‘s a reason
`Cause even in the brightest summer days
The golden light looks grey.
Amy from Digby
The nightly dream the wonderful scheme
Of a world in which to take part
Amy from Digby
The daily life, a job to survive
But the dream always in her heart
Amy from Digby.
The whales in the Bay of Fundy
A mere stop on the tourist way
But for Amy it’s Monday through Sunday
And never a chance to get away
Wasting her life selling food and drinks
All too sure what the next day brings
And even in the summer days of gold
The mildest breeze turns cold.
Amy from Digby
The nightly dream the wonderful scheme
Of a world in which she wants to take part
The daily life, a job to survive
But the dream always in her heart
Amy from Digby.
The hamburger’s good, the coffee is steaming,
Is that all there is in life for me?
Where is the world of which I’m dreaming?
Where is the prince on bended knee?

Would You
03:10
|

Would you
If you knew how often I dream of you
If you knew how much I do care for you
What would you say, can you feel
What I feel for you
If you knew how often my thoughts are with you
What would you say
Would there be some surprise
I would see there in your eyes
Would you say you didn't know
Would you simply look away
Like you don‘t know what to say
But don't tell me you didn't know
Cause you know full well what I cannot tell
And if I could I would, tell you that it's true
But then why make the two of us feel blue
Why make the two of us feel blue
If you knew how often I dream of you
If you knew how much I do care for you
What would you say, can you feel
What I feel for you
If you knew how often my thoughts are with you
What would you say
Would you be irritated
Would you just hate it
Would you say you don't want to know
Would you walk away
Would you turn to say
That you think I'd better go

All My Life
05:59
|

All My Life
Let me take you down to the river side
To the water's constant flow
Something in the air, feel it everywhere
Hold me as my fears begin to grow
Take a look around, see the turning tide
We are walking where the cold winds blow
I'd be so lost here without you
You alone can make my troubles go
But when you're near me
All my troubles fade
When you're here with me
All my worries fade away
The winds are changing, turning cold
Blowing strong and before long
Hopes are fading, life is growing cold
And what was right seems suddenly so wrong
But when I hold your hand and look into your eyes
See the sparkle of a million stars above
You give me a word, you give me a smile
Let me find a haven in the land of love
But when you're near me
All my troubles fade
When you're here with me
All my worries fade away
A fear like mad, a tear so sad
Hold me when the night is calling
Hold me when the rain is falling
Hold me, hold me, tonight
Feel your body here beside me
Out of the dark, into the light
Feel so safe inside, got a place to hide
Hold me in your arms tonight
Girl, I love you all my life
Taking comfort in the loving words you say
You will guide my way, you will light my day
You can make the dark times fade away
And when you're near me
All my troubles fade
When you're here with me
All my worries fade away
It ain't easy
But with you beside
We can make it right
Hold me tonight

Cold Is The Night
05:24

Cold is the Night
In the spring of ninety eight
We are turning in circles we don't go straight
Political gridlock social deadlock
It's stop and go more stop than go
And it has grown cold overnight
For both young and old there's no light
And no one cares for the man in the street
Promises and prayers don't bring you back to your feet
Where do we go? Tomorrow
Does anyone still know?
Today, can anyone tell?
Heaven from hell, don't we matter anymore?
We're drifting further from the shore
Turn the pages
Nothing changes
Cold is the night
In the spring of ninety nine
We're still turning in circles without reason or rhyme
Changing directions as fast as our clothes
Contradictory remedies won't cure our woes
Even the poets have gone astray
Philosophers muted
When a word would suit
To find us a path, to find us a way
Where do we go? Tomorrow
Does anyone still know?
Today, can anyone tell?
Heaven from hell, don't we matter anymore?
We're drifting further from the shore
Turn the pages
Nothing changes
Cold is the night
But all that we hear
Are black and white schemes
Simplified answers
To our mulicoloured dreams
Where do we go? Tomorrow...

Don't Leave Home Tonight
04:59

Don`t Leave Home Tonight
Snow has been falling down all day
In thick flakes
Everything is wearing a coat of white
The houses, the trees, and even the light
Looks dimmer tonight
This is a time to huddle and cuddle
Pull ablanket over your feet
Sit round the fire, look out on the street
Do anything, but do it inside
And never leave home tonight
Heavy, grey and black are the clouds
That cover the moon
The figure of a snowman vanishes soon
In the haze, and on my window
Ice flowers bloom
Decorate the room
This is a time to huddle and cuddle
Pull ablanket over your feet
Sit round the fire, look out on the street
Do anything, but do it inside
And never leave home tonight

Du kannst
04:00
|

was du zum Leben brauchst
was du zum Leben brauchst
Du kannst bald wieder hoffen
auf eine bessere Zeit
Ich weiß du wirst siegen
bald ist es soweit
Du brauchst einfach Zeit um zu spüren
Wie schön Leben ist
Um endlich zu wissen
wie wertvoll du bist
Ich versprech` dir was kommt
Ist noch viel besser als du denkst

The hunting season now open again
The hunting season now open again
Fishing for souls as best as you can
The hunter is stalking, looking for prey
You never know he might come your way
Listen and hear there is greatest joy
The hunting season has a new toy
The announcement was made with rising white smoke
See Joseph and the amazing technicolour coat
Fishing for souls
Catching a life
To be saved or to be burned
The lesson still has to be learned
The hunting season now open again
After the hunters have spoken the great amen
The prey is hiding trying to see
If the apple has fallen close to the tree
Fishing for souls
Catching a life
Does he keep the flame from burning
Or does he sparkle a new yearning?
The hunting season now open again
Fishing for souls as best as you can
The hunter is stalking, looking for prey
You never know he might come your way

Love Will Last Forever
06:51
|
|||
Love will last forever
When she saw his face for the first time
He had the sparkle of the stars in his eyes
And when he first embraced her
There was never a thought of good-byes
And for a long sunny summer
Life was so easy, life was fun
Nothing to care or worry about
As if the morning of a new day had begun
Love will be our bond
And hold us together
Love is like a magic wand
Our love will last forever
But in the autumn his country called
There were troubles in a far away land
He kissed her quick and he told her
He would write her whenever he can
Then he packed his bag and he left her
On a journey, waving her good-bye
She stood in the door and watched him
And a tear stole into her eye
Love will be our bond…
She waited a long winter
But never a word was heard
And in the spring she felt betrayed
By all the flowers and the birds
But her thoughts were always with him
She was never there alone
She spoke to him in her dreams
And always welcomed him home
Love will be our bond…
And then one day in summer
To her they brought him back
And with their condolation left her
A coffin, a medal and a flag
He did his country honour
A hero and a friend
She only had a memory
And a photo in her hand.

Fly Away

Fly Away
When the wind silently enters the room
The night is bright, by a full moon
This is the time when dreams begin
I see your face before my eyes
I speak your name within my sighs
The memory of you is fading in
Fly away, fly away
My dreams go on a journey to you
Fly away, fly away
In my dreams I spend the night with you
I haven't seen you quite a while
You used to live in glam and style
While I did stalk the backyard
So strange to meet you face to face
Three mourning roses in a vase
While I am standing in the churchyard
Fly away, fly away
My dreams go on a journey to you
Fly away, fly away
In my dreams I spend the night with you

On The Line
Hello, hello how are you
Are you ok?
Still can't believe it's true
I don't know what to do or say
Hello, hello long time no hear
Are you glad?
How I wish that you were near
All the happy times we had
So sad and lonely since you've been gone
Still don't know what went wrong
Calling you makes me feel blue
Can't help it I'm still loving you
Hello, hello I miss you
What have you done?
You know I'm feeling blue
And fancy you would come
You know, you know those days are gone
I know that too
But even though you're gone
My heart is still calling out for you
So sad and lonely since you've been gone
Still don't know what went wrong
Calling you makes me feel blue
Can't help it I'm still loving you
I'll find a new way now to get on
I'll try a smile, a laugh, so come on
Soon I will be over you
But I'm still loving you

Sidewalk Cafe
Sitting in a sidewalk cafe
Watching all the people passing by
Drinking Pina Colada
Makes me think of you
Of the short time when I
Knew of all the things you did and do
Sitting in a sidewalk cafe
Thinking of the times with you gone by
Thought for one short moment
That my dreams come true
But this moment passed
With no warning far too fast
Sitting in a sidewalk cafe
It's so sad the time with you went by
